No intention of being rude, but I can't stand when people exhaggerate like this. Well I've played through BlightTown about 5-6 times now and the only time I had bad fps drop was the last time I was there. Its really weird because I was wonder why so many were have the fps drops and I was not. It can get really bad =(. I do not know what causes it but the first few times I went in I had little to none

.



I noticed much worse lag in BT when running wireless over a wired connection. Now let me say fighting Sif I had HORRIBLE FRD which made the damn battle almost entirely luck because I just couldnt see what was going on. Everything was a giant stuttering grey blur.

You dont "HAVE" to make a new character from my understanding. Now if the changes affect your build...thats another story. If your playing for PVP you will most likely want to remake your character. Unless the changes did nothing but help you.

Oh ok, good. I made a strength build and use scaling weapons (black knight great axe mostly). I don't do the pyro cheese, never dragon head glitched, and my armor of favor desperately needs more twinkling titanite...in that case, i'm good to go =)

I love to invade someone who is doing it. Quick Kill and Souls because they are to busy with the Glitch to be prepared to die.

Well I'm unsure if parts of the US are getting the patch and some aren't but I have an idea.

Dragon Age 2 had a patch that my girlfriend got that I did not. After a few hours I still had not gotten said patch. So what I did was deleted the current patch forcing the game to make me download the current patch. It worked so you guys can try that. I'm at work so I can't do it right now.

Worst case you just end up re downloading the current patch. I'll try this when I get home but I'm here for another...5-6 hours =(.

OMG!!! DO NOT delete the game save information, you will lose everything. The GAME DATA is what you want to delete.

Too bad the patch doesn't force a reroll/wipe current pre-patch characters.

Oh well, other than that it seem decent. Won't know til we try it out. If the patch hasn't passed MS Certification yet then it might be awhile for USA/Europe Xbox 360.

I believe it means that it takes longer to receive souls after an enemy is killed to reduce the amount of people dying in PvP and still getting souls when allies kill the enemy player (being host or Black Phantom)

Nope. None of these changes will be clear until after a few days. The patch just came out, well today basically, and chances are everybody is still confused on what does what and whether anything has a real change yet. Seeing as how not everyone has the patch yet, it would probably take a week or so to truly work everything out.

From my understanding, I think they just increased the level cap for summoning/invading, since the 10% thing what a "condition" for matchmaking, I would assume that's is what they meant. I do hope they cleared some servers though, the less servers the better chances of us getting into more full servers, or at the least I hope they made them larger.

Actually I think it refers to finding Humanity on dead enemies more often than before. Along with the boss humanity drop change, players should have a lot more Humanity to spend on reviving - which in theory should increase the number of summoners/summon signs.

Seems like a good Patch. TWoP is still effective, but worse and you can lock-on to RoF users now (for those who can't take the time to learn how to not lock-on). Vow of Silence was a good one to boost, but Homing Soulmass and stuff nerfed?? I could barely ever hit anybody with those......

Glad to see the Giant Blacksmith sell Large Titanite, I hated running from Firelink to the Merchant in Sen's to buy them..... although the Twinkling is a bit of a bummer to see.

Glad they nerfed those waayyy to good Normal Shields, they were too good for what they are. I'm disappointed with the Crystal Ring Shield nerf though, it seems barely worth using doing only 250.......

I think they handled the Scaling Vs. Elemental weapons thing very well. They made it so Elementals are still viable, but scaling is better. I'm wondering which weapons get the upgraded Scale letters......

Overall the online changes seem to be good. Cracked Red Eye doesn't break if 'Failed', Host gets full Souls for a Boss, Invasion Restrictions changed.... made it like Co-Op hopefully, within each others SL range.

I'm really glad they fixed all the glitches and the 'Input Delay' bug!!

P.S. Resonance signs are something that shows up if another player used a Miracle in their World. If you see it and use the Miracle (not sure if it has to be the same one they used??) it gets an 'Upgrade' and performs better. ill be surprised if 5% is enough of a nerf for them considering how powerful they were. i wouldve expected min 10%

never understood this concept.
1) what are the chances someone will be in MY area and use a spell I have
2) What are the chances i would need it and even want to cast it then?

Maybe Im not understanding the complicity of it all but I remember when this was first announced before release I thought it was a bit weird. Did From and Namco think their servers would be jam packed with people casting everwhere?

As for match making, Im hoping the coop gets better. I wonder if the servers fill up before plopping you on one or they just randomly place you anywhere. Im guessing plopping but I hope that changes, its way to hard. Every time I play the game my buddy is on the phone and we both say it "man this game would be so much more fun playing with each other"
The solo game does not have enough story progression to make you feel like your accomplishing anything. The only despair I have felt since day 2 of this game is my wallet 60$ lighter. PLEASE make it work better. Its also too difficult to know what levels you need to be to match with people. Its a fucking retarded system, and way to strict.

With the Lightning (I hope it also affected Fire.....) a ~5% drop, when combined with ~10% increase to scaling is plenty to change the balance of things. Also, with some weapons having the Scale Letter get 'bumped up' by one at higher levels will make scaling get much, much better.
