Victory achieved sounds dumb. Why didn't they just make it say "Boss defeated"?

But yeah, just downloaded the patch and went to join the Sunlight Covenant, got me all miracles from them.

Any differences between the Asian 1.05 and the Western 1.05?

Xbox Dark Souls also received an update. Can't tell if it's 1.05 though.

It's the 1.05 patch. I'm on 360 and just did a bunch of stuff made possible by the patch.

Seems like it, I'm getting summoned really fast. Hard to say that isn't just people being excited and doing more mp since it just came out though.

Greece here, I'll try in a minute. Hope it's up for us too, since it's up for Germany, the timezones aren't much different.

EDIT: didn't prompt me to download any patch... Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!

People who can't download the patch ... are you on PS3?

Seems like Sony takes a little longer to put it up. At least here in Germany it's up for 360, but not for PS3 yet.

Yep, PS3 here. Here, the Store updates late Tuesday/maybe after midnight even (Wednesday), but the latter doesn't happen often. I suppose that's the time that all updates come, as well as the Store updates. If it doesn't come until midnight, I'll create a bitching topic about it and moan and demand my money back, and say how From is incompetent and they released a half-finished game. You know, the usual.

Not nearly as bad. See, the media always picks the worst parts. It's what they do, take something and reproduce it, but add something to it, even if it doesn't even exist. I always, always, go through Syntagma square, every day, where most strikes take place, because my university is just past that, and I've never encountered a situation where I thought "I should leave quickly". People are peaceful, holding their placards, and marching around the square or the parliament, peacefully. There's always a couple of dumbfucks that throw rocks at the police or generally cause trouble, mainly being communists, pseudo-anarchists (you know, 18 year old fucks who don't know what a job is), and provocateurs, but the majority of them is always arrested.

Not wanting to offend anyone, but there was a riot in the UK a couple of months ago, where a man died if I remember correctly. How long did the media project that? Couple of days? Here, 9/10 riots are 100% peaceful, but it's always projected and titled however they want to. It's just disgusting, how the media can distort reality, especially for smaller countries. As if Portugal, Spain and Italy are in a better fate than we are, but hey, they're not as small, so let's fuck Greece instead.

quick question, I am from the UK, I sign in to xbox live and it shows a british xbox live, now does this affect my online play with american dark soul players? I really want to know this. And thanks in advance.

Yeah, what was with that anyway? "YOU DEFEATED...." I... I defeated what?

"YOU RECOVERED..." recovered what??

Didn't in Demon's Souls it said "You Defeated [Boss Name Here]" ? Andd "You Recovered lost soul"

You recovered, well, it can be used if you are forgiving. Like, you recovered from a hit. You recovered from death. Yes, a lot forgiving.

You defeated, though... It's not English, it's not broken English, it's not English at all.

Windirein, you're making me nervous, stop that >_<

Firesage was kind of easy, for a melee build anyway. Just stayed up close, made him fly high to make the ass bump earthquake (?) attack, rolled back and behind him when he flew up, and hit him when he hit the ground. Repeat until dead.
